To clean the debris basket, simply lift it out of your Betta and empty any leaves, bugs, or debris. Rinse the basket thoroughly with fresh water, making sure to clean the fine mesh so water can flow freely. For best performance, clean the debris basket regularly - especially during heavy leaf seasons or after storms.
