A blinking red light usually means your Betta isn’t receiving enough sunlight to charge properly. Betta relies on direct sunlight, and during fall and winter, even bright days may not provide enough solar energy because of the lower sun angle. Here’s what you can try:

  1. Clean the Solar Panel: Gently wipe the solar panel with a soft cloth to remove any dirt, debris, or buildup that may block sunlight.

  2. Perform a Full Solar Charge: Take Betta out of the pool and place it outdoors at a slight angle (around 45°) or leaning against a wall. Keep the power switch ON, and leave it in direct sunlight for 6 hours to a full day. A proper full charge should power the unit for around 30 hours.
