The white residue is caused by minerals and pool chemicals that naturally accumulate on the solar panel over time. It does not affect Betta’s cleaning performance, but you can clean it easily during routine maintenance. Simply spray the panel lightly with a garden hose and wipe it with a soft cloth. Do NOT use a pressure washer or scrape the panel with any tools, as this can damage your Betta.
